Anne's Omelette

Anne's Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 3 Baby Tomatoes,
  • Butter, 
  • 2 Eggs,
  • Grated cheese, 
  • Bread, toasted.

Recipe:

First, chop 3 baby tomatoes (or one medium tomato) and fry gently in a small pan with a nob of butter. Then add 2 beaten eggs, and fry gently. Pull cooked edges of omelette into centre while cooking. (Liquid egg will then run to edge and cook).

 

When omelette almost set sprinkle with grated cheese to taste. (If omelette is already brown enough, turn the heat off and let the cheese melt by itself-this will avoid over cooking the omelette).

 

When omelette cooked and cheese gently melted flip over on to warm plate. Have bread ready in toaster to toast near end of omelette process, toast bread and then omelette and toast will be hot and ready together.
